Passing on Knowledge, Building the Future

Dr. Sadok Besrour has always regarded knowledge and education as an essential lever for emancipation, progress, and human dignity, believing that everyone should have access to quality training that opens the way to the future and to freedom.

Throughout his career, he worked to have the training of health professionals recognized as a fundamental pillar of fair, effective, and sustainable health systems. He has helped build training programs and knowledge-transfer initiatives, demonstrating that academic excellence must be embodied in concrete, accessible pathways suited to the realities of communities and countries, particularly those with low and middle incomes.

This commitment has taken shape through consistent support for educational projects of all kinds — whether basic training or training of trainers — in the field of health, including paramedical training, as well as in the education sciences. He has also fostered the development of cooperation for the benefit of partner schools, in Canada, Tunisia, and elsewhere, to build lasting ties between institutions and create bridges between generations and cultures.

Investing in Education from the Earliest Years

Access to Quality Education

Fully aware that the future of a society is shaped from the very first years of learning, he has also made schooling a major philanthropic act, offering donations to create new schools and give children the best possible conditions to pursue their primary and secondary education. Through this approach, he affirms that access to quality education, from the youngest age, is the key to sustainable and equitable human development.
